The number of imported routes that the routers in the Intermediate System to Intermediate System (IS-IS) Level-1 area advertised exceeded the configured maximum number.

Impact on the System

Some imported routes are not advertised.

Possible Causes

The number of imported routes that the routers in the IS-IS Level-1 area advertised exceeded the maximum number of imported routes that the routers in the IS-IS Level-1 area can advertise.

Procedure

  1. Run the display current-configuration command to check the configuration.

    • If the configured maximum number of imported routes is improper, run the import-route limit command to modify it.

    • If the configured maximum number is proper, go to Step 2.

  2. If incorrect external routes have been imported into the IS-IS process, run the undo import-route command in the IS-IS view to disable external routes from being imported. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 3.

    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

  3. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
  4. End.
