After the total number of entries in all instances reaches the limit, new members fail to join the IGMP group, and corresponding entries cannot be established. In this case, terminal users cannot receive the desired on-demand video programs.
After the limit to the total number of IGMP entries in all instances was set on the wireless access controller, when the total number of IGMP entries reached the limit, new members failed to join the IGMP group and the corresponding trap was generated.
Global IGMP entries include the (*,G) entries, (S,G) entries, and entries in the SSM-mapping table in all instances.

If not, go to Step 5. This situation indicates that multicast services in the network are saturated and therefore no more IGMP entries can be added. It is recommended to reduce multicast services or deploy a higher-performance device as an alternative to the current device.
