Impact on the System

After a license is aged out, shared licenses become invalid automatically. The number of available licenses in the license pool is therefore reduced. APs that exceed the available license specifications are disconnected.

Possible Causes

Cause 1

The license client is disconnected from the license server.

Cause 2

The configuration of the license client is modified. For example, the license client does not consider the local device the license server, or centralized license control is disabled.

Procedure

Check the network connectivity between the license client and license server.
Verify that the local device is still the license server of the license client and centralized license control is enabled.
