1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.139.17.2.1.3 Warning event

Parameters

Name Meaning
OID ID of a MIB object.
APMAC MAC address of an AP.
RADIOID Radio ID.
WLANID WLAN ID.
APName AP name.
MaxUserNum Maximum number of multicast group memberships on a VAP.
APID AP ID.

Impact on the System

New users cannot join multicast groups.

Possible Causes

The number of multicast users on the VAP exceeds the maximum number of multicast group memberships configured for the VAP.

Procedure

  1. Run the display traffic-profile { all | name profile-name } command to check whether the maximum number of multicast group memberships on the VAP is properly configured.

    • If so, the actual multicast traffic is too large, and it is normal that users are prevented from joining multicast groups, and no action is required.=>5
    • If not, go to Step 2.

  2. Run the igmp-snooping max-user max-user command to set a large value for the maximum number of multicast group memberships on the VAP.
  3. Check whether the alarm persists.

    • If so, go to Step 4.
    • If not, go to Step 5.

  4. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
  5. End.
