Description

HSB/4/VERSIONMISMATCH:OID [oid] The version of software is mismatch. (HsbServiceId=[INTEGER], LocalSoftwareVersion=[OCTET], PeerSoftwareVersion=[OCTET])

When the system software package versions of the master and backup devices are different, this alarm is generated.

Impact on the System

A device running a later software version cannot synchronize HSB data to a device running an earlier software version.

Possible Causes

The HSB link is established successfully, but the software package versions of the master and backup devices are different.

Procedure

Run the display hsb-group command to check whether the value of Group Status is Active(Software version mismatch).
- If so, go to step 2.
- If not, go to step 3.
Upgrade the earlier software version to the later version, and then check whether the alarm is cleared.
- If so, no action is required.
- If not, go to step 3.
