Procedure

Check whether the interface should be specified as an edge port.
- If so, go to Step 2.
- If not, go to Step 3.
Locate the source of the BPDUs on the interface and check whether the malicious attack exists.
- If so, go to Step 4.
- If not, go to Step 3.
Run the undo stp root-protection and undo shutdown commands in the interface view to delete the configuration of the edge port and restart the interface. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.
- If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
- If the alarm is not cleared, go to Step 4.
Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
