Description

RMON/4/ALARMFALL: OID [OID] Alarm table [alarm-table-index] monitors [sample-object-oid] with sample type [sample-type], has sampled alarm value [alarm-value] less than or equal to [falling-value].

The value of the alarm entity was lower than fallingthreshold.

alarm-table-index Indicates the index of the alarm entry.
sample-object-oid Indicates the OID of the sampled object.
sample-type Indicates the type of the sampled alarm.
alarm-value Indicates the alarm value.
falling-value Indicates the lower threshold of the alarm.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: If the current sampled value was smaller than or equal to this threshold, and the last sampled value was greater than this threshold, the alarm was generated.

Cause 2: After this alarm entry became valid, when the first sampled value was smaller than or equal to this threshold, and the values of fallingAlarm, risingAlarm, and risingOrFallingAlarm were equal, the alarm was generated.
