Parameters

Name Meaning
OID Indicates the ID of a MIB object.
ACMAC Indicates the MAC address of an AC.
Backup license number Indicates the number of backup licenses.
Origin Indicates the source of backup licenses.
Last backup time Indicates the last backup time.

Impact on the System

After a license is aged out, backup licenses become invalid automatically. The number of available licenses on the local AC is therefore reduced. APs that exceed the license specifications are disconnected.

Possible Causes

1. The link between the active and standby ACs is disconnected in the VRRP networking.

2. No AP is online on the backup AC in the dual-link or N+1 networking.

Procedure

  1. Check the current networking type.

    • If it is the VRRP networking, go to Step 2.
    • If it is the dual-link or N+1 networking, go to Step 3.

  2. Perform the following operations:

    1. Check that the VRRP configurations of the active and standby ACs are correct.
    2. Check that the VRRP channel is normal.

  3. Perform the following operations:

    • Check that the dual-link or N+1 configuration is complete.
    • Check whether any AP is online on the backup AC. If there are online APs on the backup AC, check network connectivity between the AC and APs.

  4. Collect alarms, logs, and configurations, and then contact technical support personnel.
  5. End.
