Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.

ip-address

Indicates the IP address of the authentication server.

vpn-instance-name

Indicates the VPN instance to which the authentication server belongs.

Impact on the System

The device cannot communicate with the RADIUS authentication server.

Possible Causes

When the timer defined using the radius-server dead-time dead-time command expires, the RADIUS authentication server changes from Down to Force-up.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the RADIUS server network is normal. After ensuring that the network is normal, check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If so, go to step 4.
    • If not, go to step 2.

  2. Run the display radius-server configuration [ template template-name ] command to check whether the configuration of the RADIUS server template is correct. Configure the RADIUS server template correctly and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If so, go to step 4.
    • If not, go to step 3.

  3. Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.
  4. End.
