Impact on the System

The device cannot communicate with the RADIUS authentication server.

Possible Causes

When the timer defined using the radius-server dead-time dead-time command expires, the RADIUS authentication server changes from Down to Force-up.

Procedure

Check whether the RADIUS server network is normal. After ensuring that the network is normal, check whether the alarm is cleared.
- If so, go to step 4.
- If not, go to step 2.
Run the display radius-server configuration [ template template-name ] command to check whether the configuration of the RADIUS server template is correct. Configure the RADIUS server template correctly and check whether the alarm is cleared.
- If so, go to step 4.
- If not, go to step 3.
Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.
