Parameters

Name Meaning

OID

Indicates the ID of the MIB object.

APID

Indicates the AP ID.

DwnInfo

Indicates AP going-offline information.

APName

Indicates the AP name.

IPAddress

Indicates the AP's IP address.

IPv6Address

Indicates the AP's IPv6 address.

DwnCount

Indicates the number of times the tunnel is closed.

APSysName

Indicates the AP system name.

  • When the AP goes online through manual configuration, the AP system name is the same as the AP name.
  • When the AP goes online automatically, the AP system name is auto.

Time

Indicates the time when the alarm was generated.

APMAC

Indicates the AP's MAC address.

Impact on the System

The AC cannot manage the AP, and services of the AP cannot run properly.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The AP is disconnected from the AC.

Cause 2: The AP is powered off.

Cause 3: Heartbeat packets between the AP and AC are lost.

Cause 4: The AC license resources are insufficient.

Cause 5: The versions of the AP and AC do not match.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the AP is disconnected from the AC.

    • If so, restore the connection between the AP and AC.
    • If not, go to Step 2.

  2. Check whether the AP is powered off.

    • If so, power on the AP.
    • If not, go to Step 3.

  3. Check whether the AP and AC properly exchange heartbeat packets.

    • If not, verify network connectivity.
    • If so and the alarm still exists, go to Step 4.

  4. Run the display license resource usage command to check whether AC license resources are sufficient.

    • If so, go to Step 5.
    • If not, apply for new license resources.

  5. Run the display ap all command to check whether the versions of the AC and AP match.

    • If so, go to Step 6.
    • If not, upgrade the AC and AP to matching versions.

  6. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.
  7. End.
