In a backup scenario, when a license is migrated between the active and standby ACs, you need to run the license revoke command on the source AC from which the license is migrated to obtain the revocation code. Then, the license enters the Trial state and can still be used within the trial period, without affecting services. Migrate the license within the trial period and load the new license file to the target AC. If the trial period expires, the license becomes invalid. APs that are not authorized by the license will go offline, and services of STAs on the APs will be interrupted.
