The reset patch-configure command clears the patch settings.

Format

reset patch-configure [ next-startup ]

Usage Guidelines

If you run the reset patch-configure command, the system clears the settings of the current patch.

If you run the reset patch-configure next-startup command, the system clears the settings of the next startup patch and sets the patch status to idle.

If there is no inactive patch on the board, the current startup patch settings can also be cleared.

Example

# Clear the current patch settings.

<sysname> reset patch-configure
Info: Succeded in resetting the patch state

# Clear the patch status and settings after the next startup.

<sysname> reset patch-configure next-startup
Info: Succeeded in resetting the next-startup patch state
