startup license

Function

The startup license command sets a license file after the next startup.

Format

startup license { default | file-name } [ slave-board ]

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
default	Indicates that the License file in the system software is used during the next startup.	-
file-name	Specifies the path and name of a License file for the next startup. file-name supports file name association. The disk where the file resides can be automatically associated. Full help: All the disks of the device can be associated and displayed. Partial help: The related disk and file can be associated and displayed after you enter a specified character string.	The name is a string of 1 to 48 characters in the format of [ drive-name ] [ file-name ]. If drive-name is not specified, the name indicates the default device name.
slave-board	Indicates the name of the License file of the slave control board after the next startup.	-

Usage Guidelines

Only the AntiDDoS8000 supports this command.

The file name extension of the license file must be .txt, and the license file must be saved at the root directory of a storage device. By default, the license file is saved on a CF card.

After you set the license file for the next startup, the device verifies the digital signature of the license file. If the following information is displayed, the digital signature of the license file is incorrect, and the license file may be insecure:
