undelete

Function

The undelete command restores a deleted file.

Format

undelete filename

Parameters

filename	Specifies the name of the file to be restored.	The name is a string of 1 to 160 characters.

Usage Guidelines

If the name of the file to be restored is the same as the name of an existing directory, the execution fails. If the name of this file is the same as that of an existing file, the display whether to overwrite the current file name prompts.

The file that is permanently deleted cannot be restored.

Example

# Restore the deleted file sample.bak.

<sysname> undelete sample.bak

Undelete cfcard:/test/sample.bak ?[Y/N] :y

% Undeleted file cfcard:/test/sample.bak
