The startup system-software command configures the file name of the system software used in the next startup.
By default, the file name of the system software used in the next startup of the main control board is configured.
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| system-file | Specifies the file name of the system software. | The name is a string of 5 to 48 characters in the format of [ drive-name ] [ file-name ]. If drive-name is not specified, the name indicates the default device name. |
| slave-board | Specifies the file name of the system software used when the secondary main control board starts up. | - |
You can specify the system-file and use the system software for the next startup that is saved on the device.
The file name extension is .cc for the system software of the AntiDDoS8000 series. The system software must be saved under the root directory of the storage device. The storage device is a CF card.
You must set the same names for the next-startup system software on the master and slave main control boards. Otherwise, the system cannot be restarted. The file names of system software on the master and slave main control board are case insensitive. All entered letters are saved as lower-case letters.
PrecautionsAfter you run this command, the AntiDDoS verifies the system software integrity. If the verification fails, this file cannot be set to the system software for the next startup.
By default, the AntiDDoS8000 verifies only the system software hash list. To verify the system software package, run the set system-software check-range all command first.
The system software file of versions earlier than V500R001C50 does not include any digital certificate. To load the system software file of an early version, run the set system-software check-mode all command to set the mode for verifying system software integrity to all. Otherwise, the file cannot be used for the next startup.
