Modifying the Remote Notification Rule

Procedure

1. Choose Alarms > Alarm Notification > Remote Notification.
2. Click the name of a remote notification.
3. Modify the basic information about the remote notification.
   1. Click in the Basic Information area.
   2. Modify the information except the name.

      For details about how to set the remote notification parameters, see Creating the Remote Notification Rule.

   3. Click OK.
4. (Optional) Modify the notification target.
   1. Click in the Notification Target area.
   2. Select the sending mode, and add the email address for receiving the alarm information.
   3. Click OK.
5. (Optional) Select the alarm devices.

   You can do as follows to re-select the alarm devices.

   • Click in the Resources area to select the alarm devices.
   • Select the devices that do not need the remote alarm notification and click to delete the selected devices from the resource list.

     You can also enter the full or partial name of a device and click to search for the devices that you want to delete.

   NOTE:

   The added device type must be consistent with the resource type specified in the notification rule.

6. (Optional) Select the alarms to send.

   You can do as follows to re-select the alarms to send.

   • Click in the Notify Alarms area to select the alarms to send.
   • Select the alarms that do not need to send and click to delete the selected alarms from the alarm list.

     You can also select the security from the drop-down box and click to search for the alarms that you want to delete.
