Adding Devices

Adding devices is the prerequisite of all device operations. Only the administrator who has the right to create devices can add devices.

Choose Defense > Network Settings > Devices and manage devices.

Add

Click to add the AntiDDoS device, router, AntiDDoS1820-N, and syslog device. For details, see Creating an AntiDDoS, Creating a Router, Creating an AntiDDoS1820-N, Creating an AntiDDoS1820-N Cluster, and Creating a Syslog-linkage Device.

NOTE:

The ATIC management center supports a maximum of 500 devices, among which a maximum of 50 AntiDDoS1820-Ns can be created, a maximum of 25 AntiDDoS1820-N clusters can be created, and a maximum of 100 syslog interworking devices can be created.

For FTP server configurations, see Library Files.

  • Log Config

    NOTE:

Only AntiDDoS V500R001C60 supports the enabling and disabling of the log encryption function on the Log Config page. Versions earlier than AntiDDoS V500R001C60 do not support this.

After the upgrade to AntiDDoS V500R001C60, you must change the log password.

Log encryption can be enabled or disabled as required. Encrypt Type is enabled by default. If it is disabled, information may be disclosed or tampered with when the device reports logs.

  • RESTful parameter

You can modify the following parameters for the AntiDDoS1820-N device:

  • FTP
  • Log Configuration

Synchronization

Click corresponding to a device to synchronize all service data of the device to the NMS for management.

CAUTION:

When the service data of the device is synchronized, the VPN data of the device is also synchronized. It is difficult to determine whether the latest VPN data on the device is consistent with the VPN data on the ATIC management center. Therefore, to ensure that the VPN data in the traffic diversion task on the ATIC management center is consistent with that on the device, the ATIC management center automatically deletes traffic diversion tasks with VPNs when synchronizing device service data.

Performance Monitoring

Click corresponding to a device and view the CPU usage and interface traffic statistics of the device. For details, see System Maintenance.
