Static Blackhole

A blackhole task for a specified IP address is manually created on the ATIC to block the traffic destined to the IP address.

Procedure

  1. Configure a blackhole API.
  2. Configure the notification mode of second-level blackhole event.
  3. Manually create a blackhole policy.
    1. Choose Defense > Policy Settings > Blackhole.
    2. Click .
    3. In the Create Blackhole Policy dialog box, set Blackhole mode to Third-party and Third-party provider to DamDDoS, set Destination IP address and Mask, and select Enable automatically. Click OK.

    For the method of automatically decapsulating a blackhole policy, see Automatically decapsulating a blackhole policy on the DamDDoS (third-party). When a static blackhole policy is automatically decapsulated, the blackhole task is only disabled. To delete a blackhole task, manually delete it.
