You can query, modify, or delete the configuration of a
trunk interface.
Context
A trunk interface connects to a packet switching device
and serves a trunk link. A trunk interface allows frames from multiple
VLANs to pass.
Procedure
- Query a trunk interface.
- Choose in the navigation tree to open the Trunk
port page.
- Select an interface type from the drop-down list box.
- Enter the interface number, for example, 0/0/1 (stack ID/subcard ID/interface number).
- Click Query to display all matching
records.
- Modify the link type.
- Choose in the navigation tree to open the Trunk
port page.
- Select the interface whose link type you want to change.
NOTE: - To select a record, click the check box of the record.
- To modify records in batches, click the check boxes of the records.
- Click Change Link Type. A dialog
box is displayed asking "Clear VLANs on the interface first. Do you
want to clear VLANs?"
- Click OK. The Select
a link type window is displayed.
- The link type includes access and hybrid.
- Click OK.
- Clear the VLAN configuration.
- Choose in the navigation tree to open the Trunk
port page.
- Select the interface configured by the VLAN that you
want to clear.
NOTE: - To select a record, click the check box of the record.
- To delete interfaces in batches, click the check boxes of the
files.
- Click Delete VLANs. A dialog
box is displayed asking whether to delete VLANs.
- Click OK.
- Modify a Trunk interface.
- Choose in the navigation tree to open the Trunk
port page.
- Click the
icon to open the Modify VLAN configuration on interface page.

Interface Name

Indicates the name of the interface where you want to modify
the configuration. This parameter cannot be modified.

PVID
|
The value ranges from 1 to 4094. This parameter is mandatory.

PermitVLAN
|
Indicates the IDs of VLANs. The value ranges from 1 to 4094.
This parameter is optional. You can enter multiple VLAN IDs, for example, 1-3,5,7,9.

- Set parameters.
- Click OK.
