| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| max-hop-value | Specifies the maximum number of hops for collecting topology information through NTDP. | The value is an integer that ranges from 1 to 8. |
When the maximum number of hops for collecting topology information through NTDP is configured, topology information about devices in a specified range can be collected, which avoids collection of infinite topology information. Meanwhile, the larger the maximum number of hops for collecting topology information is, the more the memory of the topology collection switch is occupied.
PrerequisitesThe ntdp hop command takes effect only after NTDP is enabled on the device.
