| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| ip-address | Specifies the Commander IP address. | The value is in dotted decimal notation. |
| udp-port udp-port | Specifies the UDP port number that the Commander uses to communicate with clients. | The value is an integer that ranges from 1025 to 65535. The default value is 60000. |
Usage Scenario
After an IP address is configured for the Commander, clients can communicate with the Commander through this IP address. To implement a batch upgrade, you must specify the Commander IP address on clients. In unconfigured device deployment and faulty device replacement scenarios, clients obtain the Commander IP address from the DHCP server.
Precautions
The specified Commander IP address must exist on the device that functions as the Commander.
In batch upgrade scenarios, the Commander and clients must be configured with the same Commander IP address and UDP port. Otherwise, clients cannot communicate with the Commander.
