ntdp timer port-delay

Function

The ntdp timer port-delay command sets the delay for other interfaces to forward NTDP topology request packets.

The undo ntdp timer port-delay command restores the delay for other interfaces to forward NTDP topology request packets to the default value.

By default, the delay for other interfaces to forward NTDP topology request packets is 20 milliseconds.

ntdp timer port-delay port-delay-time

undo ntdp timer port-delay

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
port-delay-time Specifies the delay for other interfaces to forward NTDP topology request packets. The value is an integer that ranges from 1 to 100, in milliseconds.

Usage Guidelines

The ntdp timer port-delay command takes effect only after NTDP is enabled on the device.

Example

# Set the delay for other interfaces on the device to forward NTDP topology request packets to 40 milliseconds.
