The optical fiber routing rules are as follows:
- Fibers should not be routed by force or bent unnaturally.
- The bending radius of optical fibers is equal to or larger than
50 mm.
- No power cables are placed onto optical fibers that
are routed.
- The optical fibers laid in a cabinet need to be
placed in corrugated pipes. The corrugated pipes should stretch into
the cabinet by about 100 mm.
- During hardware installation,
cut the corrugated pipes based on the actual routing length. Wrap
the sharp ends of corrugated pipes with adhesive tape to protect the
fiber.
- In the equipment room with brackets and
ESD floors, optical fibers shielded in the corrugated pipes are routed
through the ground inter-layer or the cable tray.
- Optical
fibers shielded in the corrugated pipes can also walk through the
cable tray that is installed on the top of the cabinet.
- If
the distance between the cable tray and the cabinet top is longer
than 0.8 m, a cable ladder should be used.
