Checking Status of Heterogeneous LUNs

Procedure

1. Check whether the external LUN fault alarm (ID: 0xF000B0064/0xF000B0065) or heterogeneous arrays' link down alarm (ID: 0xF000B005D) is reported on the OceanStor DeviceManager.

   • If yes, clear the alarm by taking recommended actions in alarm details.
   • If no, go to step 3.

2. Check whether the heterogeneous LUNs are in the Normal state.

   • If yes, no further action is required.
   • If no, go to step 3.

3. Run the scan remote_lun command to scan for heterogeneous LUNs.

   • If yes, no further action is required.
   • If no, go to step 3.

4. Check whether the heterogeneous LUNs are in the Normal state.

   • If yes, no further action is required.
   • If no, go to step 5.

5. Collect related information and contact technical support engineers.
