Status is Single Path
Check whether a single link alarm is generated on the uplink
expansion enclosure.
Yes => Rectify the fault based on alarm handling suggestions.
After the alarm is cleared, run showdisk-physic to check the physical status of the disk. If
the status remains to be Single Path, go to
step 2.
No => 2.
Check whether the expansion cable is removed or damaged.
If the cable is removed => Insert the cable. After the cable is
inserted, if the status remains to be Single Path, replace the cable. After the cable is replaced, if the status remains
to be Single Path, go to step 3.
If the cable is damaged => Replace the cable. After the cable
is replaced, if the status remains to be Single Path, go to step 3.
Check whether both ends of the expansion cable are properly
connected.
Yes => 4.
No => Connect the cable to the ports properly. After the cable
is properly connected, if the status remains to be Single
Path, go to step 4.
Check whether an alarm is generated on the module where
the expansion port resides.
Yes => Rectify the fault based on alarm handling suggestions.
After the alarm is cleared, if the status remains to be Single Path, go to step 5.
