Procedure

1. Replace the cable. Check again after the operation is complete.
   • The check is passed => No further action is required.
   • The check is failed => 2.

2. Check whether optical modules exist on the port.
   • Yes => 3.
   • No => 4.

3. Replace the optical modules on the port and the peer port one by one. Check again after the operation is complete.

   • The check is passed => No further action is required.
   • The check is failed => 4.

4. Replace the interface modules where the port and its peer port reside. Check again after the operation is complete.
   • The check is passed => No further action is required.
   • The check is failed => 5.

5. Check whether the port rate of the device (switch or host) on the peer end is 1000Mbps or 10Gbps. If not, troubleshoot the device fault. Check again after the operation is complete.
   • The check is passed => No further action is required.
   • The check is failed => 6.
