Log in to the ISM. In the navigation tree, choose . In the function pane, check whether Health Status of a resource LUN in the resource pool is Fault.
Log in to the ISM. In the navigation tree, choose . In the function pane, check whether the percentage of Used Capacity in Total Capacity reaches Fault Threshold(%) of the resource pool.
Click the resource pool to which the resource LUN is to be added, and choose .In the displayed Add Resource LUN dialog box, click Help to obtain details on how to add a resource LUN.
After the resource LUN is added, on the ISM, choose from the menu bar. In the displayed Event Management dialog box, click the Events tab, after select device and source, click Query. Check whether Recovered At of the Incremental LUN Copy Is Faulty event is displayed.
On the CLI, run the showluncopy -luncopy lun copy id and showluncopytarget -luncopy lun copy id commands. Check whether the status of the source LUN or target LUN of the incremental LUN copy is Fault.
Check whether power indicator of the disk enclosure is off.
If the power indicator is green on, the enclosure is powered on. If the power indicator is off, the enclosure is powered off.
After the disk enclosure is powered on, on the CLI, run the showluncopy -luncopy lun copy id command. Check whether LUN Copy Status is Normal.
On the CLI, run the showluncopy -luncopy lun copy id command, view Source LUN Link Status. Run the showluncopytarget -luncopy lun copy id -tlun target lun id command, view Destination LUN Link Status.
Check whether Source LUN Link Status or Destination LUN Link Status is Fault.
On the CLI, run the showluncopy -luncopy lun copy id command, view Source LUN Link Status. Run the showluncopytarget -luncopy lun copy id -tlun target lun id command, view Destination LUN Link Status.
Check whether Source LUN Link Status or Destination LUN Link Status is Normal.
On the CLI, run the showluncopy -luncopy lun copy id and showluncopytarget -luncopy lun copy id commands. Check whether the status of the source LUN or target LUN of the full LUN copy is Fault.
Check the status of the power indicator on the disk enclosure.
If the power indicator is green on, the enclosure is powered on. If the power indicator is off, the enclosure is powered off.
After the disk enclosure is powered on, on the CLI, run the showluncopy -luncopy lun copy id command. Check whether LUN Copy Status is Normal.
