  1. Delete temporary files on storage devices.
    • For version series 1:
    1. On the CLI, run developer command and the debug password to enter the developer mode.

      For the method of obtaining the debug password, see Obtaining the Debug Password.

    2. Run debug command to enter the debug mode.

      NOTICE:

      In V100R001, the debug password is the same as the developer password.

    3. Access /OSM/coffer_dump/ and delete all core files.

      NOTE:
      • Copy the preceding commands from this document to run them.
      • If there are many files or the service pressure on the coffer disk is high, the deletion may take a long time. If the deletion is not complete within 20 minutes, contact technical support engineers to handle the issue.

    4. After all temporary files are deleted from the local controller, run the ifconfig bond0 command to obtain the IP address of the local heartbeat network port.

    5. Run the ssh ibc_os_hs@127.127.127.11 command to log in to the peer controller. Repeat 1.c to delete all core files.

      NOTICE:

      In this example, the IP address of the local heartbeat network port is 127.127.127.10, and the IP address of the peer heartbeat network port is 127.127.127.11. If the IP address of the local heartbeat network port is 127.127.127.11, the IP address of the peer heartbeat network port is 127.127.127.10.

    • For version series 2:
    1. Log in to a storage device in CLI mode. Run the usm_dellog -f /OSM/coffer_dump/core* command to delete all core files.
  2. Reboot the storage device.
