Procedure

  1. For serial version 1: run the developer command in the CLI, input the debugging password, and enter the developer mode. Run the debug command to enter the debug mode.

    For the method of obtaining the debug password, see Obtaining the Debug Password.

    For serial version 2: run the developer command in the CLI, input the debugging password (debug@storage), run the minisystem command to enter the minisystem mode.

  2. Run the ps -ef |grep upgrade command to query the ID of the upgrade process.

    The following figure shows serial version 1:

    The following figure shows serial version 2:

    • If the command is executed successfully => 3.
    • If the command fails to be executed => 8.

  3. Run the kill PID command to end the upgrade process.
  4. Run the ps -ef |grep upgrade command again to query the ID of the upgrade process and check whether the ID has changed.

    • Yes => The upgrade process terminates and no further action is required.
    • No => Repeat 3.

  5. Log in to the other controller and repeat 1 to 4.
  6. Run the showupgradepkginfo -t 1 command.

    The Package Status is Running.

  7. Run the showupgradestatus command.

    The Step Status is --, which indicates that the upgrade process is inactive.
