Checking Firmware Version Consistency

Independent 6 Gbit/s SAS interface modules: Run a CLI command to power an interface module off and on to rectify faults.

Operation Restrictions

  • 6 Gbit/s SAS interface modules can be powered off and then on to rectify faults only when disk enclosures and RAID groups are in normal states and no corresponding alarms are displayed. Check items include but are not limited to:

Check the physical status of disks, the logical status of disks, the expansion module status, the enclosure status, and the RAID group status. Ensure no alarms of single link faults, disk faults, RAID group degradation faults, and RAID group faults exist.

  • Before rectifying faults, ensure that all port services on 6 Gbit/s SAS interface modules are stopped.
  • When faults of multiple 6 Gbit/s SAS interface modules need to be rectified, only one 6 Gbit/s SAS interface module can be powered off and then on at a time. After the first interface module passes the check, perform the same operations on the next one, and so forth.
