Use an SSH tool, such as Xshell 5 or later, PuTTY 0.63
or later, or SecureCRT 6.7 or later, to connect to the management
network port of the storage device. Log in to the CLI of the storage
device.
NOTE:
By default, user name admin and password Admin@storage are used to log
in to the SSH tool.
Run the show isns server_ip command
to check whether there is IPv6 address information.
NOTE:
The IP address in the following figure indicates
that IPv6 has been configured on the iSNS server.
If yes, go to step 3.
If no, go to step 5.
Check whether the user has deleted the IPv6 service of
the iSNS server.
Run the delete isns server_ip command to delete the IPv6 service of the iSNS server.
If customers require iSNS service, record
the IP address of the iSNS server configured by the clients. Run the delete isns server_ip command to delete the IPv6 service
of the iSNS server. Reconfigure the iSNS service after upgrading the
storage system. Run the change isns server_ip ip=<iSNS ip> command to configure the IP address
of the iSNS server.
NOTE:
iSNS ip indicates the
IPv6 address of the iSNS server.
Run the show isns server_ip command
to check whether the IPv6 service of the iSNS server has been deleted
successfully.
If yes, go to step 5.
If no, go to step 3.
Run the reboot system command to restart
all controllers.
NOTICE:
Restarting controllers will interrupt services.
The restart takes about twenty minutes.
