- Check whether power cables are correctly connected between the external power supply and the device.
- If yes, go to step 3.
- If no, go to step 2.
- Reconnect the power cables between the external power supply and the device.
Log in to the ISM and choose . Click Events in the Event Management dialog box and select the device and event. Click Query to check whether Recovered At of the power supply event is displayed.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, go to step 3.
- Check whether power cables are damaged and use a multimeter to test all the cables.
- If yes, go to step 5.
- If no, go to step 4.
- Replace the damaged power cables.
Log in to the ISM and choose . Click Events in the Event Management dialog box and select the device and event. Click Query to check whether Recovered At of the power supply event is displayed.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, go to step 5.
- Check whether the input voltage for devices in the equipment room is too high or too low.
- If yes, go to step 6.
- If no, go to step 7.
- Take measures to stabilize the voltage.
Log in to the ISM and choose . Click Events in the Event Management dialog box and select the device and event. Click Query to check whether Recovered At of the power supply event is displayed.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, go to step 7.
- Verify that the power supply is normal.
Log in to ISM. In the navigation tree, click Device Info. In the function pane, select the device and click the power supply. In the Power Supply Properties dialog box that is displayed, check whether Health Status of the power supply is Normal.
- If yes, go to step 9.
- If no, go to step 8.
- Replace the faulty power supply.
- For Dorado2100 G2, replace the power supply by referring to Replacing a Power Module in the chapter of Replacing Parts in the OceanStor Dorado2100 G2 Storage System V100R001 Troubleshooting.
- For Dorado 5100, replace the power supply by referring to Replacing a Power Module in the chapter of Replacing Parts in the OceanStor Dorado5100 Storage System V100R001 Troubleshooting.
Log in to the ISM and choose . Click Events in the Event Management dialog box and select the device and event. Click Query to check whether Recovered At of the power supply event is displayed.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, go to step 9.
