Checking the Status of a BBU

How to Handle the Problem if Status Is Fault

  1. Replace the faulty BBU module.

    • For Dorado2100 G2, replace the BBU module by referring to Replacing a Fan-BBU Module in the chapter of Replacing Parts in the OceanStor Dorado2100 G2 Storage System V100R001 Troubleshooting.
    • For Dorado5100, replace the BBU module by referring to Replacing a BBU in the chapter of Replacing Parts in the OceanStor Dorado5100 Storage System V100R001 Troubleshooting.

    Log in to the ISM and choose Event > Event Management. Click Events in the Event Management dialog box and select the device and event. Click Query to check whether Recovered At of the BBU Is Faulty event is displayed.

    • If ye, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to step 2.

  2. Collect related information and contact technical support engineers.
