Checking BBU Power

How to Handle the Problem if BBU Power Is Insufficient

  1. Check BBU status.

    • If it is normal, go to step 2.
    • If it is abnormal, go to step 3.

  2. Wait until the BBU is fully charged.
  3. Replace the BBU.

    • For Dorado2100 G2, replace the BBU module by referring to Replacing a Fan-BBU Module in the chapter of Replacing Parts in the OceanStor Dorado2100 G2 Storage System V100R001 Troubleshooting.
    • For Dorado5100, replace the BBU module by referring to Replacing a BBU in the chapter of Replacing Parts in the OceanStor Dorado5100 Storage System V100R001 Troubleshooting.

    Log in to the ISM and choose Event > Event Management. Click Events in the Event Management dialog box and select the device and event. Click Query to check whether Recovered At of the BBU module event is displayed.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to step 4.

  4. Collect related information and contact technical support engineers.
