Checking Whether a Disk Enclosure Has Only One Link

Procedure

  1. Check whether a mini SAS cable and an expansion module are removed or faulty.

    • If yes, go to step 2.
    • If no, go to step 3.

  2. Reinsert or replace the mini SAS cable and the expansion module, and then log in to the DeviceManager and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to step 3.

  3. Replace an expansion module.

    After replacing the expansion module, log in to the DeviceManager to check whether the alarm is cleared.
    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to step 4.

  4. Collect related information and contact technical support engineers.
