A Disk Enclosure with Running Status Being Offline
- At the site, check whether the power indicator on the disk enclosure
is steady green.
NOTE: If the power indicator is steady green, the disk enclosure is powered on. If it is off, the disk enclosure is not powered on.- If yes, go to step 3.
- If no, go to step 2.
- Power on the storage device, and log in to the DeviceManager and
check whether Running Status of the enclosure is Online.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, go to step 3.
- Check whether an alarm is displayed indicating that an expansion
module of the disk enclosure is faulty.
- If yes, go to step 4.
- If no, go to step 5.
- Clear the alarm as instructed in the alarm. Check whether
the expansion module alarm is cleared and the enclosure status is
normal.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, go to step 5.
- Collect related information and contact technical support engineers.

A Controller Enclosure with Running Status Being Offline
- At the
site, check whether the power indicator on the controller enclosure
is steady green. NOTE: If the power indicator is steady green, the disk enclosure is powered on. If it is off, the disk enclosure is not powered on.
- If yes, go to step 3.
- If no, go to step 2.
- Power on the storage device, and log in to the DeviceManager and
check whether Running Status of the enclosure is Online.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, go to step 3.
- Check whether an alarm is displayed indicating that the controller
enclosure cannot be monitored.
- If yes, go to step 4.
- If no, go to step 5.
- Clear the alarm as instructed in the alarm. Check whether the expansion
module alarm is cleared and the enclosure status is normal.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, go to step 5.
- Collect related information and contact technical support engineers.
