Creating a Proxy

Procedure

1. On the menu bar, clickSettings.
2. Choose Proxy Server Management > Proxy Server.
3. Click Create. On the Create Proxy page, set the proxy parameters, as shown in Table 1.

   

   Table 1 Proxy parameters

   Parameter	Description	Value
   Name	Proxy name	[Value range] Contains 1 to 31 characters.
   Domain Name	IP address or host name of a proxy.	[Value range] Contains 1 to 256 characters.
   Port	Communication port of the storage device	[Value range] The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 65535.
   Username	User name for logging in to the storage device.	It can be obtained from the storage device administrator. NOTE: After the password of a storage device is changed, eReplication continuously access the storage device. As a result, the storage account is locked. You are advised to create a user only for accessing eReplication on the storage device. The user must have administrator rights.
   Password	Password of the storage device.	It can be obtained from the storage device administrator.
   Anonymous	If you select Enable, you do not need to enter the user name and password.	-

4. Click OK.
