Oracle Configuration (Configuring the pfile File)
When the Oracle RAC cluster is used at the production end and a single machine is used at the DR end, after the DR database is created, you need to configure the pfile file.
Refreshing Resource Information
If storage devices, hosts or VMs change, but the changes are not synchronized to eReplication in a timely manner, you need to refresh this changed resource information before executing DR recovery. The resource information can be refreshed in either way: periodical polling using eReplication or manual refreshing.
Copy-based Recovery and Risk Handling Measures
If service data at the production center is lost or corrupted, you can use copies created during protection to roll back and restore data.
Verifying the LUN Protected Group Consistency Script (Oracle)
A self-defined script is not provided by eReplication, so the script provider must ensure the script correctness. Before configuring the script, ensure that the script has been verified.
