When you power off the system, a dialog box notifying you of entering the reason for device power-off will be displayed. You can perform the following operations to disable the power-off notification.
Context
This section uses Windows Server 2008 as an example. The method also applies to Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2016.
Procedure
- Choose Start > Run (or press win + R).
- Enter gpedit.msc and click OK.
- Choose Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System.
- Double-click Display Shutdown Event Tracker.
- Select Disabled and click OK.
