Creating a Backup Storage Library

Prerequisites

• You have purchased a backup safekeeping library.
• You have created a backup safekeeping pool.
• The storage array supports Cloud Backup.

Procedure

1. On the menu bar, click Resources.
2. On the navigation bar, select the site for which you want to create a backup storage library and select Storage in the navigation tree.
3. Click the Backup Storage Library tab and click Create Backup Storage Library.

   

   Table 1 Parameters for creating a backup storage library

   Parameter	Description	Value
   Name	Backup storage library name	[Value range] Contains 1 to 31 characters.
   Description	Description of the backup storage library	[Value range] Contains 1 to 255 characters.
   Backup Storage Pool	Select a backup storage pool that has been created and has sufficient capacity.	-
   Full Quota	If you select Enable, all capacity of the backup storage pool can be used.	-
   Capacity	If you leave Enable unselected, you need to select the capacity of the backup storage pool.	-
   Alarm Threshold	Alarm threshold for the capacity of the backup storage pool.	[Value range] 1 to 100

4. Click OK.

Follow-up Procedure

After creating a backup storage library, you can modify and delete the information about the backup storage library. For details about subsequent operations, see Table 2.
