Disabling Certificate Alarming

If no CA certificate is imported or the device certificate expires, eReplication generates a certificate alarm by default. You can disable certificate alarming if you do not want eReplication to generate certificate alarms.

Prerequisites

A cross-platform remote access tool, such as PuTTY, has been obtained.
If the eReplication management server runs Linux, the password of user root or DRManager has been obtained.

Procedure

In Linux
1. Use PuTTY to log in to the eReplication Server.
  In software package-based installation mode: Log in as user DRManager.
2. Run su - OMUser, and input the password of the OMUser account to switch to the OMUser account.
3. Run the TMOUT=0 command to prevent PuTTY from exiting due to session timeout.
  
  After you run this command, the system continues to run when no operation is performed, resulting a risk. For security purposes, you are advised to run exit to exit the system after completing your operations.
4. Run the om_manager command to access the O&M page.

5. Enter help to view the O&M commands.
6. Run the shutdown_system command.
7. Enter y and press Enter to stop the eReplication Server.
8. Run the update_lego_profile command.

10. Set the value of NotGenerateAlarms to the ID of the alarm to be masked. Separate multiple alarm IDs with commas (,).
  - To cancel the masking of alarm IDs, reconfigure the alarm IDs in NotGenerateAlarms (re-entering the alarm IDs to be masked). To remove all masked alarm IDs, change the value of NotGenerateAlarms to 0.
  - For details about the alarm IDs, see the OceanStor BCManager 8.5.0 eReplication Event Reference. The modification takes effect immediately, and you do not need to restart the BCManager eReplication service.
