Protected Group

Application resources are changed, for example, PVC/POD resources are added, modified, or deleted.

1. A protected group whose protection policy is cross-storage backup for application resources cannot be manually refreshed.

2. When you refresh a protected group whose protected object is application resources, if new resources are added to the application resources and the capacity of the new resources is greater than the remaining capacity of the license, the refresh fails and the status of the protected group is set to Invalid. Manual protection cannot be performed. The existing periodic scheduling policy is not affected. You can delete unnecessary resources or import a license with sufficient capacity to refresh the protected group.

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, choose Protection.
  2. Click the protected group that you want to refresh. In the function pane, choose More > Refresh to refresh information about protected objects in the protected group.
  3. In the Warning dialog box, select I have read and understood the consequences associated with performing this operation and click OK.

On the shortcut bar in the upper right corner of the main window, click and view the task execution status in Background Task.
