This section describes how to create a protected group at the production site for NAS File Systems that need DR protection. After the protected group is created, the system automatically matches suitable protection policies for the protected group.
When the asynchronous replication (NAS) DR technology is used, ensure that all the remote replication pairs are either not or in one remote replication vStore pair.
See OceanStor BCManager 8.5.0 eReplication Compatibility List to select the corresponding version and storage array to create protected groups for NAS file systems.
When the asynchronous replication (NAS) DR technology is used, select Array-Based Replication (Asynchronous):Active-Passive DR solution.

Expected RPO can be set to 0-31 days, 0-23 hours, and 5-59 minutes.
If days and hours are not set, the Expected RPO is 15 minutes by default.
