When the properties of a storage device are changed in the system, you must synchronize the changes to the eReplication to ensure that device properties in the DR management system are correct.
Modifying a Storage Device
- On the menu bar, select Resources.
- In the navigation tree, choose the site whose storage device you want to modify and click Storage.
- Select the storage device whose information you want to modify and click More > Modify on the Operation list.
- Change the name and authentication information about the storage device and click OK.
Before you change the authentication information, enable Modify Authentication. Adding Storage Devices lists the parameters.
After modifying the ProtectManager authentication information, you are advised to manually refresh the storage device.
