Managing snapshot copies

Management Policy

• If the backup type of the protected group is common snapshot, the snapshot copies whose ransomware detection status is Uninfected are preferentially retained, and the remaining snapshot copies are processed according to the original retention policy.
• If the backup type of a protected group is security snapshot, BCManager creates a snapshot management background task for the protected group. This task is executed every hour to periodically delete expired snapshot copies, even if all snapshot copies in the protected group have expired. A copy of the latest uninfected snapshot is still retained.
