When the properties of a storage device are changed in the system, you must synchronize the changes to the UltraVR to ensure that device properties in the DR management system are correct.
Modifying a Storage Device
- On the menu bar, select
Resources. - In the navigation tree, choose the site whose storage device you want to modify and click Storage.
- Select the storage device whose information you want to modify and click More > Modify on the Operation list.
- Change the name and authentication information about the storage device and click OK.
Before you change the authentication information, enable Modify Authentication. Adding Storage Devices lists the parameters.
Modifying a VRG
- On the menu bar, select Resources.
- In the navigation tree, choose the site whose VRG you want to modify and click FusionSphere.
- Select the VRG that you want to modify and click More > Modify on the Operation list.
- Change the name, authentication information, or alarm reporting parameters of the host and click OK.
Adding a VRG lists the parameters.
- Before you change the authentication information, enable Modify Authentication.
When the VRG account that you use is locked, you need to re-confirm the password of the admin account and modify the password in the authentication information before you are allowed to modify other information. After the password is changed, wait for five minutes and refresh the VRG. If the VRG is successfully refreshed, the password in the authentication information is also changed. Otherwise, the account is still locked. You need to re-confirm the password of the admin account and change the password in the authentication information.
- Before you change the alarm reporting parameters, enable Modify Alarm. The SNMP type and environment engine ID cannot be modified.
Modifying a FusionManager or FusionCompute
- On the menu bar, select Resources.
- In the navigation tree, choose the site whose FusionManager or FusionCompute you want to modify and click FusionSphere.
- Select the FusionManager or FusionCompute that you want to modify and click More > Modify on the Operation list.
- Change the name and authentication information about the device and click OK.
