Symptom
After a KVM test is complete, error message A VM disk is not controlled. Modify the settings and then try again. is displayed.
Possible Cause
A user mistakenly deletes the snapshot mapping and snapshots on the DR array.
Procedure
Method 1:
- Log in to FusionCompute at the DR end as an administrator.
- Clear residual FusionCompute data at the DR end.
- Delete a VM.
- Log in to the background database and delete the residual datastore data.
- Log in to UltraVR, delete the recovery plan, and recreate it.
Method 2:
- Use PuTTY to log in to the FusionCompute service background at the DR end and log in to VRM.
- Go to the /opt/galax/vrm/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/vrmconfig.properties directory and change the value of VM_DISK_URL_CHECK to false.
- Run the service vrmd restart command to restart the VRM service.
