An Error Is Reported During Clearing After a KVM Test Is Complete

Symptom

After a KVM test is complete, error message A VM disk is not controlled. Modify the settings and then try again. is displayed.

Possible Cause

A user mistakenly deletes the snapshot mapping and snapshots on the DR array.

Procedure

Method 1:

  1. Log in to FusionCompute at the DR end as an administrator.
  2. Clear residual FusionCompute data at the DR end.

    1. Delete a VM.
    2. Log in to the background database and delete the residual datastore data.

  3. Log in to UltraVR, delete the recovery plan, and recreate it.

Method 2:

  1. Use PuTTY to log in to the FusionCompute service background at the DR end and log in to VRM.
  2. Go to the /opt/galax/vrm/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/vrmconfig.properties directory and change the value of VM_DISK_URL_CHECK to false.
  3. Run the service vrmd restart command to restart the VRM service.
