What Can I Do If the Login Fails Upon a Login Interface Error

Symptom

I install the UltraVR Server on Linux. A login interface error occurs, and I cannot log in to UltraVR.

Possible Causes

After UltraVR is configured, the host name corresponding to the IP address obtained from the /etc/hosts Linux host file is inconsistent with that from YaST control center.

Procedure

1. Run the yast command to go to the YaST control center, then choose Network Devices > Network Settings.

   

2. Select Hostname/DNS, and check and record the correct host name.

   

3. Log out of the YaST control center.
4. Run the vi /etc/hosts command, open the hosts file
5. Press i to go to the edit mode and edit the hosts file, change the host name in the file to the one obtained in step 2, save the change, and exit.

   

6. Re-log in to UltraVR.
