What Can I Do If UltraVR Cannot Manage OceanStor 18000 After I Upgrade the SVP of the Array

Symptom

After you add OceanStor 18000 on UltraVR, and upgrade the SVP of the array, UltraVR cannot use the original port to manage OceanStor 18000.

Possible Causes

Before the upgrade, the port used by the SVP to provide services is 443. After an array is added on UltraVR, and the SVP is upgraded, the port changes to 8088. As a result, UltraVR cannot use the original port to manage OceanStor 18000 and related operations fail.

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, select Resources, select a site managed by the management server, and click Storage under a node of the site.
  2. Select OceanStor 18000, click Modify in the operation button area, modify the original port number in the authentication information to the one after SVP upgrade, and click OK to add the array again.
