If two UltraVRs are deployed, add a remote management server to the local UltraVR. In this manner, the local UltraVR can manage local sites that are created on the peer end and added into the local UltraVR.
Prerequisites
The IP address, port, and user SyncAdmin's password of the remote management server have been obtained.
Procedure
- On the menu bar, select Resources.
- In the navigation tree on the left, click
. - Configure basic information about the remote management server. Table 1 describes related parameters.

IP Address
The management IPv4 address of a remote UltraVR server.

Port
Communication port between local and remote UltraVR management servers.
[Value range]
The value ranges from 1 to 65535. The default value is 9443. If the default value is not used during installation, enter the actual port number.
Username
User that manages the remote UltraVR management server. The value is SyncAdmin.

Login password of user SyncAdmin on the remote UltraVR management server.
Default password: See the default password of the account for the target node on the Type A (Portal) sheet in the UltraVR V100R003C10SPC900 Account List.
Alias
Identifier specified to the remote UltraVR management server for fast recognition. It is displayed in the navigation tree.
[Value range]
- Contains 4 to 32 characters.
- Contains letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-), and cannot start with a hyphen (-).
